We have a 2016 Shadow Cruiser 260BHS PURCHASED IN March 2015.

We too are experiencing the faded cap issue. Ours is the grey cap/ white sides model.

After my initial purchase issues and knowing that the warranty was only 12 months, I didnโ€™t waste my timelooking for a remedy from Cruiser RV.

Like other posters, we have had a variety of poor quality issues from the start and had experienced the same local dealer service refusal because we hadnโ€™t purchased our unit from them, even though prior to our out of state purchase we were told by the warranty dept that any Cruiser RV dealer in the lower 48 States will perform service work on our purchase. We did have Camping World of Bridgeport,NJ, perform warranty work on our electric awning and our range vent. Very pleased with CW and with Gentry McConnell from Cruiser warranty dept.

Lippert components also gets a thumbs up for their customer service as well. I did have to inject myself directly into the work co-ordination and 3mos after the awning motor warranty work, had to replace the motor again which Lippert sent direct to me against their policies. No additional issues since.

While iโ€™m not classifying my unit as a lemon , I too find the Cruiser RV quality to be sub-standard. I ended up fixing all of my initial 90 day โ€œadjustmentโ€ issues myself other than the awning and range hood/vent. It wasnโ€™t worth the hassle to take the trailer back to CW 75 miles away and have it sit for weeks to months so I spent a day doing the repairs myself. Most were fit and trim issues plus improperly assembled kitchen faucet, loose plumbing component fittings on the traps and a host of other minor issues, 22 in total.

Now recently, after experiencing a tire blowout on a 1000 mile trip to Disney, the undercarriage damage actually revealed some hidden water damage due to poor sealant. It surprised me but the plastic wheel well trim actually needs to be properly sealed. I had discovered lapses in the sealant applied to the trim that allowed water seepage into the base of the sidewall. Fortunately, the water damaged wood will be repaired from the covered loss repair from the tire blowout. Our first trailer was a 1986 Sunline Satellite which we purchased used in 2001 and sold in 2014. Damn we miss the quality of that gem. BTW, itโ€™s still in use , the third owners love it as much as the first two owners.
